Rangers Vs. Royals Final Score: Texas Wins 5-4 In 10 Innings

Texas Rangers first baseman Michael Young hit the game-winning single to score Ian Kinsler in the top of the 10th inning to give the Rangers a 5-4 win over the Kansas City Royals. The Royals got the best of the Rangers early on as they scored three runs off of starter Scott Feldman in the first three innings, with one of those runs coming off of a solo shot by Jeff Francoeur.

The Rangers made their comeback in the top of the fourth when they got back-to-back home runs from Josh Hamilton (a two-run shot) and Adrian Beltre (a solo shot). The two teams exchanged runs in the seventh inning, which were the last until Young broke the tie to give the Rangers the win.

in the bottom of the 10th inning, the Rangers sent out Joe Nathan to close out the game, which he did by pitching a perfect inning for his 30th save of the year.
