Rangers Vs. Mariners: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Texas Rangers, four games ahead of the Oakland Athletics in the American League West, take the field Saturday against the Seattle Mariners a night after a short-handed loss.

Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton did not make the trip to Seattle while he's being evaluated for vision issues that may or may not be related to a sinus infection. Third baseman Adrian Beltre is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday, according to John Schlegel of MLB.com.

Left-hander Matt Harrison will start for the Rangers on Saturday. Harrison was brilliant in his last start against the Mariners, going 8 2/3 innings of six-hit, one-run ball. In four starts against the Mariners this season, Harrison has a 1.10 ERA in 32 2/3 innings.

Blake Beavan—an Irving, Texas native who the Rangers drafted in 2007 and traded to the Mariners as part of the Cliff Lee deal in 2010—will start for the Mariners. He has an ERA of 4.88 this season in 23 starts and 132 2/3 innings.

First pitch at Safeco Field in Seattle is at 7:10 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.
