Mariners Vs. Rangers Final Score: Seattle Holds On To Win, 8-6

The Texas Rangers fell to the Seattle Mariners in the second game of their three-game set, 8-6, on Saturday night at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Texas fell behind early thanks to a rough outing by Scott Feldman. The 29-year-old only lasted two and two-thirds innings and allowed six runs (all earned) on seven hits and a pair of walks.

The Rangers did climb back into the contest however, scoring three in the sixth and then tying the game in the seventh inning at six apiece. Mike Napoli provided the big blast in that sixth frame with a three-run homer, scoring Michael Young and Nelson Cruz.

Unfortunately for Texas, the game wouldn't remain deadlocked for long. Justin Smoak hit a solo home run in in the eighth to notch the eventual game-winning tally.

Nelson Cruz provided a large chunk of the Rangers offense with three hits and two RBI, including a sacrifice fly and a single.
