Rangers Vs. Red Sox: Yu Darvish Roughed Up In 9-2 Loss

Yu Darvish's struggles continued in Boston on Monday night, as he allowed six earned runs in a 9-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Darvish was able to last 6 2/3 innings, but the Texas offense was held in check all night. The Rangers did get on the board first on an RBI-single from David Murphy in the second inning. But the Red Sox scored two in the third inning and three in the fourth. Darvish's final earned run came in the seventh, and Michael Kirkman allowed three earned runs in the seventh as the game broke open.

Nelson Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored, while Adrian Beltre went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
