Texas Rangers Vs. Boston Red Sox: Monday Night Lineups

The Texas Rangers begin a pivotal stretch in their 2012 schedule, as they head to Boston to take on the reeling Boston Red Sox.

Yu Darvish gets the start for the Rangers, as he looks to get his season back on track. Unfortunately for Darvish, Ron Washington has opted to start Michael Young at shortstop, so Darvish might need to post a lofty strikeout total, or feel the wrath of the BABIP gods.

Both Bobby Valentine and Washington have announced the starting lineups for Monday night's game, and here they are.

Texas Rangers

2B Ian Kinsler
SS Michael Young
CF Josh Hamilton
3B Adrian Beltre
RF Nelson Cruz
LF David Murphy
C Mike Napoli
DH Geovany Soto
1B Mitch Moreland

SP Yu Darvish

Boston Red Sox

CF Jacoby Ellsbury
LF Carl Crawford
2B Dustin Pedroia
1B Adrian Gonzalez
DH Cody Ross
C Jarrod Saltalamacchia
3B Will Middlebrooks
RF Ryan Kalish
SS Mike Aviles

SP Aaron Cook

Aaron Cook has struck out just four batters in 44 and 2/3 innings this year, so the Rangers will be putting plenty of balls in play tonight.
