The Oakland A's swept the Indians in Cleveland's last series, closing the gap on the Texas Rangers in the AL West. Now the Rangers will get a shot at the Indians and a chance to push their lead in the division past four games again when they travel to Progressive Park on Friday for a three-game set against the Tribe. The series follows a day off from action after a tough series against the Tampa Bay Rays for the Rangers.

Game one of the series will see Ryan Dempster (3-1, 5.46 ERA) try to continue his strong run with the Rangers since being traded to Texas from Chicago. He'll face off against Ubaldo Jimenez (9-13, 5.58 ERA) from the Indians.

The game will be at Progressive Field at 6:05 p.m. CT.
