The Texas Rangers had a monster game en route to an 8-0 win over the Minnesota Twins. Third baseman Adrian Beltre has been on a roll the past few games. He hit three home runs two games ago and on Friday night, he went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a run as he hit for the cycle.
On the pitching side, Rangers Matt Harrison had a no-hitter through 6 2/3 innings before it was broken up on a line drive single to left field with two outs in the seventh by Trevor Plouffe. Harrison lasted eight innings and gave up only two hits while walking two and striking out five. The win for Harrison was his 15th, which is a new career high.
