Rangers Vs. Orioles Score Update: Texas Scores 9 Runs in 4th Inning

The Texas Rangers entered the fourth inning tied 1-1 with the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night. At the end of the inning, they lead the Orioles 10-1 on the strength of three Adrian Beltre home runs and a grand slam from Mitch Moreland.

Beltre started the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning, but Baltimore tied it up on a Nick Markakis RBI single in the third. In Beltre's second at-bat, he hit a two-run homer in the fourth to put the Rangers up 3-1. David Murphy made it 4-1 with an RBI double.

After that, Mitch Moreland hit a grand slam to push the lead to 8-1. Orioles starter Tommy Hunter was shortly thereafter pulled from the game, having faced eight batters in the fourth without recording an out. He was replaced by reliever Kevin Gregg.

Beltre hit a two-run home run off Gregg before the inning ended to give Texas a nine-run lead.

Rangers starter Derek Holland has given up three hits and one run and has struck out two in four innings of work.
