Rangers Vs. Yankees: Thursday Start Time, TV Schedule And More

The Texas Rangers (67-49) will try to avoid a four-game sweep in New York (70-47) on Thursday afternoon when they conclude their series with the Yankees. On Wednesday night, they fell 3-2 after a 45-minute rain delay.

Texas will send Derek Holland (7-6) to the mound. In his last start against the Detroit Tigers on August 11, he pitched a great game but earned a no-decision. He gave up just three hits and one run in 7.2 innings and the Rangers won the game 2-1.

Ivan Nova (11-6) will pitch for the Yankees. He will try to continue his team's recent success in shutting down Texas -- the Rangers have scored just four runs in the three games this week.

First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. CT at Yankee Stadium. The game can be seen on Fox Sports Southwest.
