Rangers Vs. Yankees Score: Josh Hamilton Homers, Texas Down 3-1

After a one hour, forty-five minute rain delay before the game, the Rangers and Yankees have reached the end of four innings in the Bronx. In the top of the frame, Josh Hamilton hit a 2-2 pitch from Freddy Garcia into the second deck in right field to get Texas on the board after a slow start.

Pitcher Scott Feldman got into trouble in the bottom of the third when he allowed leadoff hits to Jayson Nix and Derek Jeter. Nick Swisher followed that up with a double, scoring Nix, then Curtis Granderson moved Jeter home with a sacrifice fly. Eric Chavez finished the rough inning by hitting Swisher home, and by the time the inning was over, Feldman's pitch count had reached 72.

So far, Garcia has held the Rangers to just three hits on the night while it appears Feldman's night might be over after swelling his pitch count and walking two in the fourth inning.
