The Texas Rangers look to close out the first half of the MLB season with a series win over the Minnesota Twins. Texas dropped the series opener on Friday 5-1 but bounced back on Saturday with a 4-3 win.
Roy Oswalt will try to get back on track Sunday after one of the worst outings of his career. Oswalt allowed nine earned runs in 4.2 innings in a loss to the Chicago White Sox last time out. Oswalt is 2-1 with a 7.79 ERA and has been roughed up in his last two starts.
The Twins will counter with Cole De Vries who has bounced back and forth between the bullpen and the Minnesota rotation. De Vries is 2-1 with a 3.91 ERA this season.
