2012 MLB All-Star Game: Yu Darvish Wins Final Vote

The fans have voted and their voices have been heard. Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish will join seven of his teammates and his manager, Ron Washington, as he claims the final spot on the American League roster for the 2012 All-Star Game which will be played in Kansas City on Tuesday, July 10th.

It was the first Final Vote victory for Texas in which according to Major League Baseball, online voting records were smashed. The Rangers will now be represented by Josh Hamilton, Joe Nathan, Matt Harrison, Mike Napoli, Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus and Adrian Beltre.

Darvish has taken Major League Baseball by storm as he's already amassed 10 wins in his first season in the big leagues and joins Hideki Matsui and Hideki Okajima as Japanese winners on the AL side of MLB.com's Final Vote.
