You can help Yu.
With just one day remaining in MLB's Final Vote contest, which pits five players in each league against each other for the last spot on the All-Star Game roster, Yu Darvish leads all American League nominees.
Darvish is facing some stiff competition from some pretty good hurlers. Former Cy Young winner Jake Peavy is in second place behind Darvish in the contest, followed by Jason Hammel, Jonathan Broxton and Ernesto Frieri.
Though Darvish's numbers aren't as good as Peavy's, he's still leading the vote with less than 24 hours to go. If Darvish hangs onto his lead, he will be the eighth Ranger to be named to the All-Star team, a figure that represents 32% of Texas' active roster.
Over in the National League, Chipper Jones had been leading the voting. Jones, though, was named as an injury replacement to Matt Kemp, and thus, taken off of the ballot. Currently, look away, Rangers fans, if the name still stings, David Freese leads in the National League, ahead of Bryce Harper, Michael Bourn and Aaron Hill.
