The somewhat reeling Texas Rangers begin a two-game set against the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night for an AL West road series. It will be interesting to see these teams play each other, considering the roll the As are on began with a win against the Rangers earlier in the month.

Oakland has nine of its last 10 games, including a four-game winning streak. The As send Bartolo Colon to the mound against the Rangers' Roy Oswalt in the pitching duel. Colon has 18 career wins against the Rangers, the most he has against any team in the league.

Texas, still holding a fairly comfortable lead in the AL West and clearly the class of the division, is 4-6 in its last 10 games.
