Texas Rangers Vs. San Francisco Giants: Preview, TV Schedule And More

A night after winning for the first time ever in San Francisco, the Texas Rangers look to make it two in a row.

Scott Feldman gets the start for the Rangers, and he has quite the difficult act to follow. Matt Harrison was brilliant on Friday night, pitching a complete game shutout, while allowing just five hits without issuing a walk.

Feldman will look to improve on his latest start, which shouldn't be difficult. Feldman was blasted on June 4, lasting just an inning and two thirds, giving up eight runs on seven hits and a walk. To date, Feldman is 0-4 with an atrocious 7.01 ERA and 1.64 WHIP. Further, Feldman has walked 13 and struck out only 14.

Feldman's counterpart on Saturday will be Ryan Vogelsong, who has once again been effective for the Giants. After starting the year out on the disabled list, Vogelsong has rebounded and pitched nicely, to the the tune of a 4-2 record, with a 2.38 ERA, .228 BAA and 1.22 WHIP.

First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. CT from AT&T Park in San Francisco. Televised coverage can be found both on FOX Sports Southwest and MLB Network.
