Rangers Vs. A's Final: Oakland Takes The Final Game Of The Texas Series, 7-1

The Rangers star pitcher, Yu Darvish, got the start on the mound to try and help Texas take the three game series from the Oakland A's, 2-1. But Darvish struggled through a little over five innings of work and the A's were able to take the final game in their three game set with the Rangers.

Darvish went five and one third innings pitched and gave up six hits, six earned runs and walked six Oakland batters.

It all went downhill for Darvish in the fourth inning as he loaded the bases twice on three walks and hitting a batter with a pitch and then gave up a bases clearing triple that scored four runs for Oakland.

Texas was anemic on offense too as Mitch Moreland, Adrian Beltre and Josh Hamilton were the only Rangers players to record a hit with Beltre being responsible for driving in the only Texas run of the ball game.

The Rangers now move on to San Francisco to take on the Giants in a three-game weekend road series.
