This Morning's Quick Note On WAR

Prior to having three hits with a double, and a walk, on Sunday afternoon, Elvis Andrus found himself worth 2.4 Wins Above Replacement at FanGraphs. Here's your handy explanation if you have no clue what I just said at you.

The neat-o stuff does not stop there. As you see here (I assume, this may have changed in the light of day), that puts him fourth in the American League. Which means FanGraphs is telling you the Texas Rangers have just about had two of the four most valuable position players in all of the American League this year.

One of them is 23.
