Rangers Vs. Tigers: Justin Grimm Roughed Up In 8-2 Loss

Last time Rick Porcello started against the Texas Rangers, he failed to go more than an inning and gave up eight runs. This time it was a role reversal as his opposite number, Justin Grimm, was the one who went just one inning. He gave up six runs and took the loss.

Doing the damage for the Tigers was Miguel Cabrera. He went three-for-four and had three RBI. His two-RBI single in the first inning was the start of Grimm's rough day.

The two Rangers runs came on a home run from Josh Hamilton in the seventh inning. It was his 23rd of the season.

Texas will look to bounce back on Tuesday when Yu Darvish (9-4, 3.45 ERA) faces off against Drew Smyly (2-2, 3.96 ERA).
