MLB Trade Rumors: Texas Rangers Looking To Reassess Injured Pitchers

The Texas Rangers are in quite a different situation this season when it comes to health in their pitching rotation. Last season, the defending ALCS champions were able to breeze through the regular and postseason with a healthy five-man rotation in C.J. Wilson, Colby Lewis, Derek Holland, Matt Harrison and Alexi Ogando.

This season has taken an unhealthy turn. Ogando was placed on the disabled list earlier this week, joining Holland and Neftali Feliz. Rangers general manger Jon Daniels downplayed any trade ideas with the deadline just over a month away, indicating he'd rather get his guys back healthy before making long-term decisions.

This quote from Daniels via the Fort Wort Star-Telegram:

"Still probably a month away from the trade market heating up, or at least a few weeks. That's not where our mindset is. Our mindset is more to weather the storm and get our guys back and reassess at that point."
