Colby Lewis allowed one earned run on just four hits, pitching a complete game as the Rangers cruised to a 9-1 win.
Lewis walked one and struck out seven en route to his fifth win of the year. The Rangers scored in the first inning when Ian Kinsler came home on a wild pitch, but there wasn't any more scoring until the sixth inning. In the sixth, the Rangers had six straight two-out hits to score five runs and extend the lead to 6-0.
Texas added two more in the seventh. Arizona got on the board in the eighth with a solo home run from Miguel Montero, but the Rangers got the run back in the eighth.
David Murphy went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer to lead Texas at the plate. Ian Kinsler went 3-for-5 with an RBI and run scored, while Mitch Moreland went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.
