Alexi Ogando Injury: Texas Pitcher Could Be Headed To Disabled List

The Texas Rangers could be down yet another pitcher after Alexi Ogando left Sunday's game with what appeared to be a strained groin. Ogando suffered the injury while running to first base in the top of the fourth inning against the Giants.

Ogando isn't scheduled to start again until Saturday but will get an MRI on Monday.

"Right now it feels pretty bad. Tomorrow I will get an MRI but right now it doesn't feel good,"

Ogando threw three perfect innings against the Giants on Sunday before suffering the injury. He was making his first start of the season after starter Derek Holland went on the disabled list with a fatigued shoulder and a stomach virus. Ogando has appeared in 28 games this season and is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA.
