Rangers Vs. Giants Final Score: Texas Blanks San Francisco 5-0

The Texas Rangers got a dominating pitching performance from Alexi Ogando and three relievers as they blank San Francisco 5-0.

Ogando made his first start of the season for Texas in the absence of the injured Derek Holland. Ogando pitched three perfect innings before being forced to leave the game after he strained his right groin while running to first. Robbie Ross came on and tossed four innings in relief while allowing just one hit to pick up the victory. Tim Lincecum falls to 2-7 on the season after allowing five runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Texas got on the board first in the third inning with an RBI double from Adrian Beltre. Ian Kinsler's two run double in the fourth extended the lead to 3-0 and Josh Hamilton capped off the scoring with a two run double of his own in the sixth.

Kinsler and Craig Gentry finished with two hits each for the Rangers. Hamilton now has 61 RBIs on the season.
