FanGraphs On Josh Hamilton's Legendary Night

I'm sure these kinds of totally tubular stats will be pouring in from all directions over the next 24 hours or so, but this one is my personal favorite so far:

Hamilton entered the night with a .474 wOBA and raised it to .536, passing Matt Kemp for the best mark in baseball. For the evening, he posted a wRC+ of 1,212. His wRC+ for the year is now 247 – Babe Ruth’s highest single season wRC+ was .235.

For the reference, the highest wOBA ever posted in Ranger history was the .447 Hamilton put forth two years ago.

Another one of my favorites is this: In one night, Josh Hamilton had one fewer RBI and four times as many homeruns as Albert Pujols has had all season.
