  5. C Matt Wieters

  7. 3B Wilson Betemit
  8. DH Mark Reynolds
  9. 2B Robert Andino

After some ginger sprinting on the basepaths Monday night, Beltre remains out of the field for the Rangers. This actually presents a good opportunity for Young to play third, however. With five left-handed hitters in the Baltimore lineup, and a fly ball-prone pitcher on the mound, the likely impact of his defense is mitigated some.

While Feliz will have the platoon disadvantage in five spots in the Oriole order, that includes Wieters, who has been superior from the right side in his short career.

The Rangers will lose the benefit of Reynolds's defense in the field, which contributed to a couple of runs Monday, with him moving to DH.
