The Rangers banged out 19 hits and cruised to a 14-3 win in the series-opener against the Orioles, although half of Texas' runs were scored in the ninth.
Brandon Snyder went 3-for-5 with a home run, six RBIs and two runs scored. He drove home two runs with a single in the second inning, then hit a three-run homer in the top of the sixth to break the game open. Brandon was 5-for-14 with one RBI entering the night.
Matt Harrison got the start, giving up three earned runs over seven innings. He gave up just two hits heading into the sixth inning, but gave up four in his final two innings.
In the seventh inning, Michael Young and Josh Hamilton each hit two-run homers as part of a seven-run inning to put the game out of reach.
