Rangers Vs. Mariners: Texas Falls To Seattle, 21-7

The final scoreboard tally of the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners game looked more like a football score than a baseball score.

After falling to Seattle 17-0 early, Texas tried to make things respectable by scoring five runs in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh to cut the score to 17-7, but the Mariners answered in the top of the eighth inning by putting four more runs on the board to bring their total to 21 in the game. The Rangers added another run in the bottom of the ninth but it wouldn't matter as the game had already been long out of reach.

Texas drops the series with Miami, 2-1, and now move on to face Albert Pujols and the Anaheim Angels on the road for a four game weekend set that begins on Friday.
