Yu Darvish, Felix Hernandez Are Must-See TV

If you're a Rangers, Mariners or just baseball fan in general, make sure you tune in Monday night to catch the opening game of Texas' series in Seattle. Yu Darvish will be getting his second crack at the Mariners on Monday night, looking to rebound from his near-disaster MLB debut when he picked up the win against the Mariners. This time, he'll be opposed by perennial Cy Young candidate Felix Hernandez.

That match-up alone is worth watching, but let's also not overlook the fact that Darvish will be facing Japan's best MLB star tonight as well in Ichiro Suzuki. We'll be able to watch the greatest Japanese hitter to come to America, and quite possibly (though it's far, far too early to know) get to watch him face off against the greatest Japanese pitcher to cross the Pacific in Darvish.

No, the Mariners don't have an imposing lineup, and yes, Darvish should be able to put up some gaudy numbers tonight in Seattle. Hernandez against Texas' lineup will also be a treat to watch, as one of the AL's best pitchers faces the league's best lineup.

This will hopefully be worth staying up late on the east coast to watch. I'd suggest you do the same.
