The L.A. Angels of Anaheim will make the first trip of the season to Arlington, meaning former Rangers ace C.J. Wilson will return to his old park for the first time, squaring off with Yu Darvish, the blue chip sensation Texas replaced him - or chose over him, depending on your vantage point - with.
Wilson told MLB.com he's ready for a hostile welcome "home:"
"I think the biggest thing will just be that we'll be playing in front of a huge crowd in a stadium that's relatively hostile to our team -- and I'm sure will be fairly hostile to me," he said. "I think a lot of people will boo me and stuff.
"The main objective is just focusing on the baseball aspect of it and preparing to get their guys out."
