Yu Darvish gave up one earned run over seven innings to move to 4-0 on the season as Texas started off its road trip with a 4-1 win over the Blue Jays in Toronto on Monday night.
Darvish gave up just four hits and struck out nine batters.
Adrian Beltre went 3-for-5 with a run scored to lead the Rangers, who were coming off their first series loss of the season to the Tampa Bay Rays. Mitch Moreland and Craig Gentry hit back-to-back solo home runs in the seventh to turn a 2-1 lead into 4-1. Moreland went 1-for-3 while Gentry went 1-for-4.
Mike Adams pitched a perfect eighth inning and Joe Nathan pitched a perfect ninth to pick up the save.
The win moves the Rangers to 9-1 on the road this season.
