Rangers Vs Yankees: Texas Leads 7-2 With Ross Mowing Down New York

The Rangers scored a run in the second off a deep Adrian Beltre home run, and scored another three in the third to give Scott Feldman an early 4-0 lead. Feldman struck out three against one walk, but failed to turn a double play in the fourth thanks to a broken bat flying at his legs. He managed an out, but was chased after allowing a run with runners at second and third. Replacement Robbie Ross allowed an inherited run on a sacrifice fly, but put out Feldman's fire, and has retired each of the eight batters he's faced, with two strikeouts.

A Mike Napoli home run started off what looked headed toward a big fourth inning, making it 5-2, but with two on, Elvis Andrus bunted to give up an out, followed by an intentional walk of Josh Hamilton to load the bases. Adrian Beltre and Michael Young each failed to bring even a run home.

The Rangers added two more runs in the sixth, with a home run from Mitch Moreland, Ian Kinsler's third hit of the game, and Elvis Andrus's second straight bunt.

Texas's relentlessly aggressive offense and superb bullpen seems to be on its way to yet another dominating performance of a quality opponent as we start the seventh. Neftali Feliz is in the game in relief.
