The Texas Rangers are currently laying the wood to the Detroit Rangers, as an 8-run first inning has spawned a 9-0 lead after three innings in Arlington. With all the success comes a bit of bad news, as third baseman Adrian Beltre has been replaced by Alberto Gonzalez after suffering an injury to his gimpy left hamstring.

#Rangers from @JeffWilson_FWST: Lefty hamstring is the same one that gave Adrian Beltre problems in 2011. Cost him more than a month.

Beltre's had issues with his left hamstring in the past, as he missed significant time in 2011 with the same injury. In 2012, Beltre is hitting .303 with two home runs and seven RBI's this season.
