Rangers Vs. Tigers: Saturday Doubleheader Game 1 Lineups

Friday's postponement between the Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers has forced the two division leading clubs to play a doubleheader on Saturday. The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. CT. Both Ron Washington and Jim Leyland have announced their lineups, and they are as follows:

Texas Rangers

Ian Kinsler, DH
Elvis Andrus, SS
Josh Hamilton, CF
Adrian Beltre, 3B
Michael Young, 2B
Nelson Cruz, RF
David Murphy, LF
Mike Napoli, C
Mitch Moreland, 1B

Matt Harrison, SP

Detroit Tigers

Austin Jackson, CF
Brennan Boesch, DH
Miguel Cabrera, 3B
Prince Fielder, 1B
Delmon Young, LF
Ryan Raburn, RF
Jhonny Peralta, SS
Brandon Inge, 2B
Gerald Laird, C

Rick Porcello, SP

Kinsler will likely start at second base for the second game of the double header, allowing Young to play DH, or, he may opt to use the DH on another everyday player instead.

The second game of the double header will have plenty of heat, as Neftali Feliz will square off against Justin Verlander.
