Friday night's game between the Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers was postponed due to rain so the two teams will play a day-night double header with the first game scheduled at 12:05 p.m. CT. The rain is expected to pass through the night and not be an issue for either game on Saturday.
Coming into this series the Rangers are one of the hottest teams in all of baseball with an 11-2 record and are among the major league leaders with a .306 batting average, .521 slugging percentage, 23 homers and 79 runs.
The starting pitchers will be the same for both teams in the early game on Saturday as they were on Friday with the Rangers bringing out Matt Harrison who is 2-0 on the year against Rick Porcello who is 1-0.
Starting in the second game will be Neftali Feliz for the Rangers and Justin Verlander for the Tigers.
