The Texas Rangers road trip through the top of the American League continues on Thursday, when they travel to Detroit for the start of a four-game series in a rematch of the 2011 ALCS.

Yu Darvish takes the mound for his third start of the season, with the Japanese right-hander looking to improve his command as he gets more comfortable in MLB.

Facing him will be 24-year old rookie Adam Wilk, who is making his second career start after giving up 2 earned runs in 5 innings to the Chicago White Sox on April 14.

The Rangers offense, meanwhile, will try to keep their recent hot streak going after scoring 24 runs in a two-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox.

Detroit, at 9-3, has been almost as hot as Texas to start the season. Free agent acquisition Prince Fielder hasn't needed much time to adjust to AL pitching so far, hitting .356 with 2 HR's and 8 RBI's.

The 6:05 PM game will be broadcast regionally on Fox Sports Southwest and nationally on the MLB Network.
