The Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins start off their weekend series on Friday night at Target Field. Texas is looking to improve its record to 6-2 on the young season, while Minnesota sits at 2-4 and next to last in the American League Central Division.

Matt Harrison will be making his second start of the season for the Rangers. In his previous outing on Sunday, Harrison gave up only six hits in six scoreless innings against the Chicago White Sox. Since then, Texas took three out of a four-game series with the Seattle Mariners.

The Twins enter this series having just won two out of a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Anthony Swarzak will take the mound for Minnesota, looking for his third straight win.
