Yu Darvish Can Throw 82 MPH Left Handed

Don't expect to see any type of switch pitching on the mound for Yu Darvish, but this is still pretty interesting. As if 10-12 pitches wasn't enough for Darvish, he can throw 82 mph...left handed.

Fox Sports Southwest's Emily Jones sat down with Darvish over the weekend for an interview, where Darvish revealed some of his routine habits, which include throwing long toss left handed. Darvish throws left handed in order to "put stress on the other side of the body," and to "balance it out" for his body.

Darvish said himself that he won't be appearing in a game left handed, but said maybe if he hurts his arm, he'd challenge himself to come back left handed. Let's hope that's not the case.

We'll get another chance to see Darvish pitch, right handed and all, on Tuesday when the Rangers take on the Indians. Luckily for American fans, the game will be broadcast in Texas markets on MLB Network.
