VIDEO: Rangers Derek Holland Attempts To Be A Meteorologist

Texas Rangers starting pitcher Derek Holland tried his hand as a meteorologist for WFFA-TV in Dallas on Friday. Holland attempted to fill in for their regular weatherman Pete Delkus, and the results were hilarious and disastrous all at the same time.

Holland talked about the weather with some sort of Harry Caray impersonation that was not really that good, but he relied on being silly to distract from his lack of skills which worked a little bit. He also would greatly exaggerate what the weather actually was by saying there will be six feet of rain or that snow would be happening in the Dallas area.

What Holland wanted to do the most was to remove his sweatshirt to become a floating head since his shirt matched the chroma key background.

Even though Holland said we went to school for this type of thing, he really should stick to his day job with the Rangers.
