Breaking: The TexasFielder is one of the most prominent free agent left in baseball and the Rangers have been rumored to be one of the teams, along with the Toronto Blue Jays, to be left in the running to sign the power-hitting first baseman. Fielder is coming off a season in which he hit 38 home runs and had a batting average of .299. He also finished third in voting for the National League's Most Valuable Player Award.
