Martin Perez Set To Make AAA Debut, Watch Online At MiLB.tv

Martin Perez, one of the top prospects in all of baseball, is set to make his AAA debut tonight for the Round Rock Express against the Memphis Redbirds on Saturday night. Perez, who turned 20 years old in April, pitched extremely well in AA for Frisco, striking out 83 in 88.1 innings while walking 36 and holding opponents to a .245 average against. Perez also held a slim 3.16 ERA in AA to boot.

If you want to watch Perez pitch tonight, you're in luck. The game is being broadcast on MiLB.tv - if you're a subscriber, of course.

Perez was rated as the sixth best prospect in all of baseball recently by Baseball America and their updated Top 50 midseason prospects list. The only prospects ranked ahead of Perez were Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, Matt Moore, Julio Teheran and Manny Machado.

Hopefully all goes well for Perez in AAA, but even if it doesn't, Rangers fans should show patience - he is only 20 years older, after all.
