T.R. Sullivan has an update on Josh Hamilton’s shoulder injury:
X-rays showed no fracture. The Rangers do not believe it is a separated or dislocated shoulder. But he will certain miss some time because of this. No decision on if he will go on the disabled list but that is a distinct possibility.
Hamilton injured the shoulder diving for home plate after tagging on a foul pop in the first inning of the Rangers’ 5-4 loss in Detroit Tuesday.
Check out Adam Morris’ speculation on what the Rangers might do with Hamilton’s roster spot on Lone Star Ball.
