This afternoon figures to be the most intriguing so far in camp, as the two highest profile names among Rangers rotation candidates are each scheduled to start. There have been some pretty over-the-top reports of Neftali Feliz's progress early in camp, so we'll get to see a first progress report today. Nolan Ryan sums up his candidacy succinctly.
↵↵↵"He's the most gifted pitcher we have, there's no getting around it," Ryan said. "But it's potential. He's not at the point right now."

Derek Holland entered camp as a favorite to win one of the last rotation spots, but he has competition from Feliz, Michael Kirkman, David Bush and Matt Harrison, even if Brandon Webb isn't ready for the start of the season.
↵Tanner Scheppers and Eric Hurley are also scheduled to pitch.
