Galloway: Washington Guarantees Young Over Napoli?

Please someone tell me I'm misreading this quote:

It's a guarantee, from RonWash, that Napoli will never get an at-bat (barring injury or a normal day off) ahead of Michael Young. "Never."

Maybe that's Galloway's wrong interpretation? Maybe I'm missing a context where he's saying that needs to happen? I've read it several times and it seems to be exactly what I've been afraid of: as long as the team is healthy, Michael Young comes ahead of Napoli on the depth chart.

It's not a surprise or anything. But with this Michael Young debacle, I had started thinking, wishfully, that some of Young's anger was that Napoli would get his playing time. He can be angry about that if he wants, but it makes sense. If they're committed to give Young playing time before superior hitters, perhaps they could relax their commitment to giving Moreland the first base job full time? Then they could go forward without having people who challenge .360 wOBAs on the bench.

Maybe I'm just reading too much in to this. There's more in that article, it's pretty much Randy Galloway telling Michael Young to shut up and play, which is not something you hear every day. But I can't get past that quote.

I guess if it's true, it's far from a season killing decision. Especially given someone will probably get hurt and it will all work out from there, but it's concerning that the team might be guaranteeing playing time regardless of actual performance.
