“We’re not going to set a deadline or anything like that,” general manager Jon Daniels said of the trade situation. “Once he’s here, we’re going to move forward with the business of baseball. If something happens after that point, we’ll address it. That’s where we are.”
Daniels said the club is still talking with other teams, but wouldn’t elaborate.
Young hasn’t commented publicly since snapping at Daniels and requesting a trade, but the Rangers expect him to report this week.
