Texas' bullpen looks like it's going to take a hit. Per Evan Grant, Darren Oliver is reportedly close to signing with the Toronto Blue Jays.
↵If true, the Blue Jays will be the ninth team Oliver has played for in his career. Oliver came up with the Rangers in 1993 and has also played for the Cardinals, Red Sox, Rockies, Astros, Marlins, Mets and Angels.
↵More importantly, as Grant points out, this move would leave the Rangers without any lefties in their bullpen as currently constructed. We'll see how the rest of the offseason plays out, but it's unlikely, that the Rangers head into Spring Training without at least one left handed reliever.
