2011 Silver Slugger Awards: Adrian Beltre Is A Three-Time Winner

The Texas Rangers Adrian Beltre was the recipient of American League's Silver Slugger award, honoring the best offensive player at each position.

The awards just keep on coming for Texas Rangers third basemen Adrian Beltre, as on Monday the Dominican won his 3rd Gold Glove award for his play at the hot corner. On Wednesday, Beltre won his third Silver Slugger award for another strong offensive campaign for Ron Washington's Rangers squad.

Beltre hit 32 home runs with 105 RBI's in 2011, the third baseman had a batting average of .296 and a .561 slugging percentage.

The Silver Slugger Award is awarded annually to the best offensive player at each position in both the American League and the National League, as determined by the coaches and managers of Major League Baseball. Here is the full list of players who won the award this year.
