Mike Olt Continues To Destroy Arizona Fall League Pitching

Ho hum, another day, another two home run game for Mike Olt in the Arizona Fall League. Olt blasted another two home runs on Friday, including a grand slam. Olt also walked twice for the Surprise Saguaros as he finished the day 2-4.

On the season in the AFL, Olt has an astounding 11 home runs and 38 runs batted in in 22 games -- and apparently owns half of the AFL's multi-home run games.

Olt's first homer on Friday came off of Jed Bradley, a first round pick from the 2011 draft for the Milwaukee Brewers. His second came off of another Brewers lefty, Daniel Meadows.

A former member of the Connecticut Huskies, Olt has certainly upped his prospect stock with his showing in the fall, coming on the heels of a successful minor league campaign, where Olt hit .267/.387/.504 with 14 home runs in 69 games in class High-A.

Rangers farmhand Miguel de los Santos started the game for Surprise, but got knocked around, allowing five runs on three walks and four hits in three and a third innings.
