Ho hum, another day, another two home run game for Mike Olt in the Arizona Fall League. Olt blasted another two home runs on Friday, including a grand slam. Olt also walked twice for the Surprise Saguaros as he finished the day 2-4.
↵On the season in the AFL, Olt has an astounding 11 home runs and 38 runs batted in in 22 games -- and apparently owns half of the AFL's multi-home run games.
↵Olt's first homer on Friday came off of Jed Bradley, a first round pick from the 2011 draft for the Milwaukee Brewers. His second came off of another Brewers lefty, Daniel Meadows.
↵A former member of the Connecticut Huskies, Olt has certainly upped his prospect stock with his showing in the fall, coming on the heels of a successful minor league campaign, where Olt hit .267/.387/.504 with 14 home runs in 69 games in class High-A.
↵Rangers farmhand Miguel de los Santos started the game for Surprise, but got knocked around, allowing five runs on three walks and four hits in three and a third innings.
