Rays Vs. Rangers: Desmond Jennings Gives Rays 1-0 Lead

Colby Lewis' Achilles heel this season has been the longball, as he surrendered 35 in 200 and 1/3 innings this season for the Rangers. Lewis has been victimized again by the longball, this time in the ALDS.

Lewis retired the first nine Rays in order before Desmond Jennings took Lewis deep to begin the bottom of the fourth inning, giving the Rays a 1-0 lead in Game 3 of the ALDS.

Offensively, the Rangers have been able to muster three hits against Rays starter David Price, but haven't been able to score a run. Elvis Andrus and Mike Napoli both singled up the middle, while Craig Gentry reached on an infield single before being picked off by Price.
