Texas Rangers Game 6 Lineup: Craig Gentry Starts For David Murphy

Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington just posted his line-up for Game 6 of the World Series, and there were no major surprises:

1. Ian Kinsler (R) 2B
2. Elvis Andrus (R) SS
3. Josh Hamilton (L) LF
4. Michael Young (R) 1B
5. Adrián Beltré (R) 3B
6. Nelson Cruz (R) RF
7. Mike Napoli (R) C
8. Craig Gentry (R) CF
9. Colby Lewis (R) P

With the series back in an NL park, DH Michael Young has been shifted to 1B, sending Mitch Moreland to the bench.

And with the Cardinals sending out left-handed starter Jaime Garcia, Washington chose not to start LF David Murphy, who has struggled against left-handed pitchers. Instead, speedy CF Craig Gentry will bat in the eight hole; playing Gentry also allows Washington to move the hobbled Josh Hamilton out of the spacious center field in Busch Stadium.
