World Series: President George W. Bush To Throw Out First Pitch

Dirk Nowitzki didn't bring much good luck to the Rangers throwing out the first pitch in Game 3 of the World Series on Saturday night. For Game 4, the Rangers are giving the honor to a former owner as former President George W. Bush will throw out the first pitch.

President Bush, of course, is buddies with Nolan Ryan and is often seen with Ryan in the front row at Rangers games. It's not terribly surprising that the former President will be throwing out a first pitch in the series.

But you have to wonder. Despite being a former owner of the Rangers and obviously frequenting Rangers games, who is the former President actually rooting for?

First pitch of the game itself is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT, so former President Bush's first pitch should come around 7. We'll see if FOX actually shows it live as it happens, or if we'll get a replay of it in the first or second inning.
