Michael Young finally showed up, and he showed up huge, and even recorded the final out. The Rangers served notice for everyone of just how much they can destroy the opposition when they play to their potential. Derek Holland was better than he looks in the boxscore, and the bullpen was typically excellent. Nelson Cruz had one of the best series in the history of the MLB postseason.

And after going five decades without so much as a postseason series victory, the Texas Rangers will now play in two World Series in as many years.

Real recap forthcoming. Tonight: we celebrate.
